Salt Separation Services engineers have recently completed the commissioning of a Sulphate Reduction Unit (SRU) on-board the FPSO MV14 Rio de Janeiro in the Campus Basin approximately 100 km off the Brazilian coast.

Working on behalf of the package manufacturer, Aker Kvaerner Process Systems, their work - scope included:

• the installation of 864 membrane elements

• commissioning of the SRU along with its associated downstream de-aerator

• providing training to the FPSO’s multi national team of operators and maintainers
