Salt Separation Services win Reverse Osmosis Contract

In June 2008, Salt Separation Services were awarded two contracts, together worth over £0.6 million, for 400 m3/day seawater Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination plants for installation on-board cruise ships.

The contracts, with two separate customers, are for the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of the plants on Crystal Cruise’s Crystal Serenity and P & O Cruise’s Oceana.

It is anticipated that installation on-board Crystal Serenity will commence in November 2008 whilst Oceana will be started in early 2009.
